The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will feature a quad rear camera setup!
Xiaomi is continuing its efforts to increase its share in the foldable phone market. New information is coming out about the foldable phone, which is expected to be released soon. Xiaomi’s highly anticipated model has caught attention this time with its camera details.
At the beginning of this month, Xiaomi announced that the Mix Fold 3 will be coming in August. Today, the company’s official Weibo account has once again confirmed this report. Additionally, the company added that Xiaomi and Leica are working on an “optical full-focus quad-camera setup.”
This means the phone will have four cameras on the back. In its two previous foldable phones, Xiaomi had included three rear cameras. Currently, only Vivo and Huawei have models with four cameras on the back.
There is no official information yet about the camera specifications. However, according to the rumors, the quad-camera setup will include a Sony IMX800 sensor, an ultra-wide lens, a 3.2x optical zoom telephoto lens, and a 5x zoom periscope telephoto lens.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 model is said to feature a 6.5-inch OLED FHD+ resolution 120 Hz external display and an 8.2-inch OLED FHD+ 120 Hz internal foldable display. Additionally, it is claimed that both panels will have a hole-punch design. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
